Types of oxygen cylinder

Liquid oxygen - oxygen is chilled in the tank to -182.8°C until it is liquid. This is then placed in a special tank designed to keep the liquid cool. When this liquid oxygen is subjected to higher temperatures, it condenses back into a gas, which quickly flows out through the oxygen delivery mechanism.
When to use the oxygen cylinder?
An oxygen cylinder should only be used if a licensed medical expert recommends it. This is commonly done when a person needs supplemental oxygen because their blood oxygen levels are low.
A pulse oximeter, for example, can be used to measure blood oxygen levels. It monitors SpO2, often known as oxygen saturation. In a healthy person, normal SPO2 values are greater than 95–92 percent. If it goes below this level, supplementary oxygen may be advised.
